The Magic of Bali

Bali is in need of help to assist with the post-bombing relief efforts and we need solutions to create new jobs quickly.

The US attack on Iraq and the SARS epidemic have done severe damage to the tourism industry here that was still suffering from the aftermath of the Kuta massacre.

Bali needs all kind of help to solve the current crisis here and the many problems Bali will face if they tourists don't come back soon and our island begins to starve even more.
More than 300.000 people on Bali already lost their jobs and their families suffer.

We urgently need:

  • Motivated and Caring thinkers to analyze problems and provide solution matrixes for Bali
  • Motivated and Caring activists to do the legwork
  • Protective equipment & Consultancy to help the provincial department of Health improving sanitary & quarantine conditions in hospitals, clinics and ambulances.
  • Office equipment like desks, chairs, filing cabinets, PCs etc. for BaliSOS office.

Spirit of Tanah Lot

Rescue Team at Bomb Site

The Bali Recovery Group is a coordination committee composed of major local NGO's working to help the victims of the Bali bomb blast on 12 October.
The objective of the group is to coordinate activities between organizations in order to deliver the best services and minimize duplication of efforts.
The Bali Recovery Group does not collect funds itself.
Potential donors should contact the individual members who fit their sponsorship profile.
The Bali Recovery Group fell silently to sleep in May 2003.

We hope to be able to publish financial reports and other information of these organisations here on this site and will update immediately as we learn more.
